Luzhou Laojiao is one of China's premier wine and liquor producers. Intel cooperated with Sichuan Mobile Communications Co. and Dianji Science & Technology to help Luzhou Laojiao design a wireless collaborative business solution based on a wireless LAN and Intel Centrino mobile technology. In October 2003, the structure for the new wireless collaborative system was finalized. The HQ office building was fitted with wireless hotspots and a GPRS network covered 20 sales offices. The solution was based on expanded peer-to-peer network, which supports direct access within the client terminals.
